Past Perfect Tense VS Simple Past Tense Exercise

Fill in the blank spaces with the correct Past Perfect tense of the verbs in brackets. Pay attention that in some cases, the Past Perfect tense, the Simple Past tense, or the Past Perfect Continuous tense can be used with no difference in meaning.
